SITAC recently issued its first well drilling company certification to Vattenhuset – Nordborr i Sundsvall AB.

SITAC, which has been certifying well drillers for the past year, now offers well drilling companies an opportunity to obtain certification. The industry viewed personal certification as a first step toward the goal of company certification, which has now been realised.

The purpose of the certification is to ensure that entire companies possess the routines and knowledge necessary to perform good work of a professional standard.

It should be noted that the certification applies to the well drilling company, and not to the results of any particular job. As long as no separate product certification exists, a company certification audit cannot take one into account.
